We have Lake Effect and you guys have Ocean Effect. lol In the winter here when Winter comes and the Lake is still warm we get dumped on with heavy, wet Lake Effect Snow. The sooner the Lake freezes over the better off we are. Then we get really cold but we don't get as much snow. That's inetersting stuff! I'm a shameless knowledge nerd. lol I love learning about stuff in different parts of the world!
