It’s been so mild  here the past few weeks with temps of 15/16 deg so everything starting to grow again the grass especially I hear people mowing there lawns on a daily basis sonewhere abouts always thinking it will be the last cut . We Havnt had any frost yet I expect things will start to slow down eventually . Have a good sleep going to make my first cuppa now xx

Hi Leslie glad  you have John home  and you’ve been catching up on your many jobs . 5 th November here us known as bonfire night to do with guy fawlkes who tried  to burn the Houses of Parliament down years and years ago known as the gunpowder plot . So we recognise it with a bonfire and fireworks I remember as a child potatoes done in the fire we had Parkin or gingerbread to eat and treacle toffee . Dad woukd set the fireworks  off while we all watched . Now it is more an organised thing that people go to but they are trying to get them banned  as  lots get burned when the fireworks go rogue .  Busy night for the fire  brigade too. Xx
