Hello dear Cassie. Thank you for thinking of me, so kind. The water damage could have been a lot worse, it really was Biblical here so we've been told! The roof repairs and the guttering repairs were fine, but the intensity of the rain was so bad that other weak places simply couldn't cope. The joys of an old house. Anyway, I have spoken to our builder friend and he's going to pop round at some point and have a look. Another very wet day here but looks brighter for Weds and Thurs.
