I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels tossed them down
Oh, how I loved that story!

He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.

So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.

Hi Bev! Good to hear you are doing well. We are too. Had a good visit with mom over the weekend. She says she's 'planning' on going this weekend for a haircut. Yes, it can be very frustrating working with doctors or searching for a new one. I lucked up this time, although she looks old enough to retire. Lol. But for now I'm happy. I hope all of your family are doing well. We are getting many veggies out of the garden. Our niece is doing much canning. It's nice to prepare a meal of fresh homegrown veggies.
