Happy New Year Bev! Hard to believe we are here in 2026. 2025 went quickly. I was asleep also when the New Year rang in. The meal is a southern tradition...its well known in the south. Pork, blackened peas and turnip greens. I have Crowder peas...not a fan of black eyes. And I mix my greens...turnip and collars. I also prepare deviled eggs and potato salad and corn muffins. Im so sorry about Nelson's knee. May he recover quickly. I've had a quiet morning and now I'm cooking. It will be a quiet evening as well. We like quiet lol.
