I'm sorry that you are having issues with J's carer again. I do hope he has turned up today and you're not going to have to go through more issues. We didn't get the promised rain yesterday, a small and rather pathetic 10 min drizzle was all. Very warm again this morning, but clouds are forming and rain is forecast for this afternoon. I hope that your day is going well and you aren't rushed off your feet with things. Good morning Marguerite, tyvm for the wren, 2 gems & bonus pink.  We are currently experiencing torrential rain after a lovely sunny start to the day.  Foolishly I put some washing in the machine hoping I would get it out and dried before the rain but how wrong can you be?  Airing cupboard and drier seem the way forward i think.  Bonnie is having 10 minute walks until and including tomorrow and then she can revert to normal.  She seems fine, but still tending to eat cautiously.  So good to hear you have managed some nice walks with Pippin in between showers.  I think we have had the best of the summer now but it has been a good one so we must not complain.  Look after yourself.  We return the cuddles to Pippin and thank you for the ones sent for Bonnie.
