Hello Marguerite and thanks for the Cuckoo. I'm sorry I didn't manage to get here yesterday, we were invaded by the family with wants and needs! I hope your week has started well and you are managing to keep cool. It's cloudy and hot here today, but they say that the sun will break through this afternoon. I hope you are having a good day, and not having to tidy too many of Pippin's toys away from the garden! Maggie has done exactly the same with hers. Good morning Marguerite. Joan's friend brought her to the police to report it. They are going to ask the council tip for the cctv to see if they can trace the man . The car isn't driveable as the door won't close so insurance getting it picked up etc.   It was 20 degrees but no sun yesterday. dull all day. But sun is out today and supposed to stay that way all week. My friend is calling out to bring me home. Laura is taking a half day and coming out to sort insurance etc . I am going to the opera house in Belfast tonight .Enjoy the sunshine x

We didn't get any rain overnight though
I'm planning to upcycle some furniture today having a cuppa and going to sort my paint and brushes out

Wrc thank you Marguerite.  Was far to hot for me yesterday I got the car.booked in 1 st September I have to take it in for 9.15 am so that means I’ll have to get a taxi back and then back again to pick it up . Phoned my scrip through and then I did my ironing , thought I’d read my book in the conservatory in the afternoon but it was too warm even with all the doors and windows open. The window cleaner came and did the outside I’ve just the inside to do now . Stayed indoors trying to keep cool . Rained last night when I drew the curtains . Suns out again this morning going to do another hot one I going shopping and pick my scrip up today but I might stay near those fridges if it gets too warm xx

a sunny evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! oof! 32C is much too hot; so is 30! it's 27C here, and feels very muggy after yesterday's rain. the smoke has finally cleared, and our air quality is rated good again. went to the library this afternoon, and then picked up Cece to spend a couple hours. now the kitty boys and I are taking it easy before supper time. they send snuggles to you, and to Pippin along with the many ear rubs I'm sending to him. when I took Cece home spent some time playing tug with Janeway, their pup. she had a squeaky penguin that she brought to me.  she didn't want to play fetch, but simply tug-a-penguin. take care, and keep cool! hugs! xxx

with hot weather ~ We've warmed
to 27 degrees and the humidity is
tolerable at 48% ~ I've kept the
blinds closed to keep the AC air
that we were able to sleep in last
night ~ Hoping we won't need it
tonight ~ Hope you and Pippin
will be able to walk in the morning,
and that you'll be able to enjoy your
lawn furniture again soon :)
