Hi Marguerite we had a couple of showers yesterday but still quite windy we need more rain though perhaps we will get it today no need to go out . Art starts again next week. I finished my jobs in the morning and cooked the rest if the apples in the bucket so done for a while till I pick any more I can reach might have a rest from them for now . Went to marks in the afternoon I had a voucher due to expire so bought a new bra some of mine are getting done . Just phoned through and taxed the car (road tax) was going to nip to the post office but saw I coukd do it over the phone, saved me a trip  . Going to put the washer on. Next and clean the front windows . Enjoy your flower arranging xx

Good morning Marguerite. We have rain again today. It rained from 7am until 12,30pm yesterday, torrential rain. Then rained again from 4pm again torrential rain. At least no plants needed watered. Joan had a man out last night to look at the back row of trees and top garden bed. He is bringing 4 men with him and it will take 2 days to sort. She has spent a fortune on the garden since John died because it had a lot of damage to the trees with the last storm . I am sure John enjoyed going to the shops and church with you . Joan has a hospital appointment today at cardiology so I am going with her.    Have a good day. Spotted a magpie ty x
