I laughed at your note especially regarding your fussy friend. As fussy as Brian and I can be, we’ve never made a fuss in a restaurant, likely because I worked in restaurants for years and saw how difficult it is to the staff. There comes a point where perhaps you should just stay at home when your menu becomes that ludicrous. The last time I worked in restaurants was 25 years ago, and I am so happy I don’t work in them especially today, because of all the insane demands of what some people ask for. One of my nieces works at a high end restaurant in Toronto, she makes a thousand plus a night just in tips, perhaps if I made that kind of money id be much more forgiving 😂, it would still be annoying though.
