Morning Ingrid! Oooh the sight of your garden is cooling me down! Had rain and a thunderstorm this morn but feels like it's heating up again. Hopefully heatwave won't last much longer, I'm struggling to sleep. Resorted to a Youtube sleep hypnosis last night. Loved reading your Scottish itinerary. Glorious :) I've been to a few of the sites, fab part of the country but googled Dumfries House and pretty sure I've never been there. Oooh yes i bet the candlelight tours are so beautiful. We've often been to the Haddon Hall ones and they are magical. Well done on completing the Niccolo marathon!! I've just finished a book by Nicola Cornick (love her novels) re the rumour that Anne of Cleves had a child - fascinating - thought I knew a lot about the Tudors but never heard that before.
