Yes the fire was crazy, we saw aerial photos and the land is burnt right around the houses. the Lord really spared us. You can see how the houses were trapped between the sea and the fire. But fortunately it seems to be all out now.
-8 brrrr that is freezing, i don't know if i could do that kind of weather. That is seriously cold. That said i really do want to experience snow at least once in my life - proper snow. we have snow falls here in the mountains but not really that you can actually go touch or build a snow man in.
