The only thing that saved me was that each time (they were my magpie nester both times), I had caught jackdaws when I needed magpies, so I only needed to catch two. . . but it was still over a day each time. Ridiculous!

thanks for the magpie ~ just saw your note about jackdaws ~ they make me crazy! I have spotted literally dozens of magpies and/or POMS while trying to get jackdaws. They drive me nuts!
