Yes children can take a bump but for us it looks worse lol lol. As me today I lost my cellphone and it landed on my toe who is blue now lol.
Hope you manage to buy a warm blanket so you wont freeze. I do so want to take a bath but our bathroom is to small for having that.
As you say when having it so warm as at your sons place you get use to it for sure. We get use to it when its -15 here lol.
