Hello Helen, oh, the last of the topiaries had appeared, stage one is looking rather cute in its newly planted stage. I’ve had to do two of the dinosaurs for one of the pottery lotteries, and rather wished I’d skipped it. When I did them originally I enjoyed them, but the repeats not so much. How are you doing with the 500 books? I’m still trying to think of somewhere to fit another bookcase without completely cluttering up the house. I think we’ve found the garden arches we need for the back at last, just waiting on one of the measurements from the local garden centre, although we can’t take delivery of them until after the holiday to Scotland, nowhere to store the, properly whilst we wait for to have them set in place. The climbing rose and the honeysuckle may be flowering by the time they’re done. I think a heatwave is expected over the weekend, it certainly felt muggy when I was out today, and it was raining as well. The cows (young heifers) are still in the field behind. I caught one having a good chin scratch on the new fence post this morning. I hope these stand up as long as the older ones (we only had them fixed at the start of the year). Have a good, long weekend x
