Quick FL sprinkles before I go out and put the wood preserver on the second half the shed - daily waiting for the weather to calm down.  Not sure when we’ll get to do the second coat.

Hello Helen, another week flown by and I’ve managed to buy a few bits for Christmas.  Also sorted out three birthdays (great nieces and nephew) in late November and December.  Hope you enjoyed the crooked spire festival.  Jack and Freya’s trip sounds amazing.  Lots of Christmas things happening around us now.  The Parish Church Christmas Fayre on Saturday and another at Samlesbury Hall on Sunday (was too full last year though).  We’ve booked a day out at NT Sizergh Castle for their Christmas displays, it’s not too far away and with the membership from summer, it wasn’t expensive.  Christmas lunch treat next week using Jeff’s birthday voucher and I’m going on another one on the week after.  The day after that the garden fence is being repaired so fingers crossed for a dry day.  Ready for Christmas in FL now and liking your snow globe with the gingerbread man in it 😀

Hi ya Helen! How was the trip to Japan? I hope it was wonderful! I hope they have lots of pictures & stories to share. Did they go to the forest that have the really tall/old trees that has a path you followed to a shrine at the end? I can't think of the name but Amy said it was magical & spiritual. We are having nice cooler weather here after so much rain (we needed it), Will be nice & cozy for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Will have a house full & I really love hosting it. I go all out with my china & silver, passed down from my Mom. Candles & little pumpkins on the table. Richard is thawing out the turkeys & I'm preparing the sides for cooking tomorrow. Will feast on deep fried turkey, sausage & mushroom stuffing, candied yams, green bean casserole Amy brings garlic mashed potatoes & pumpkin whipped cream pie & my big Sis brings cornbread dressing & cranberry relish. Making lots of sides & extra desserts today, deviled eggs/rolls. I'll be doing some extra walking this weekend lol but it's worth every bite to share with my family. I'll be ready for Christmas on Friday lol when do you put your tree up? Hope we get something different here in FL for
