Hello Helen, hope you had a good weekend and bank holiday. Mostly free of rain here during the day. Stayed home, working in the garden - love seeing everything coming back to life, and starting to flower. Still reading the House of Niccolo series and I made it past the sticking point from the first attempt and then couldn’t put it down at some stages. Now I’m about 70 pages from the end of book 2 and book 3 (new copy) isn’t due to arrive till the beginning of June. Not available in the library; I could buy a used copy but not by tomorrow, so l’m looking at a free trial on Audible and being read to - honestly, I’ve no patience haha. I’ve food shopping to do this afternoon, and we’ve booked a holiday to Scotland at the beginning of June (Dumfries and Galloway) ending at Dumfries House and staying in the Lodge (early birthday treat). Have a good rest of the week x
