Finished up the coverlet without too many bad words. Had to pick out and redo two corners. I knew the old one was a bit threadbare but did not realize how faded as well. The new one will brighten my bedroom up.
Got the kitty toys picked up and vacuuming done. Then used the carpet cleaner. It is like an upright hoover but wet. Now the kitties are all running about and playing lava since the floor is damp. I pulled out fans for every room and it should be dry by morning. So last minute wipe downs and ready for company.
Hope your garden enjoyed the sunshine after the rain! My poppies are orange and in full bloom, as well as the purple alliums.
