That is so cool! We pass fabric back and forth between us quilters as well. There is such a strength of feeling to keep it from the landfill that we will find a way to pass on the last scrap.
What doesn’t get taken by the other quilters at the retreat this weekend will go to the thrift store in the Amish country. Car is loaded up and just need the perishables loaded and we will drive an hour and a half to join the fellow quilters. I always take more projects than I can finish in case one of the projects decides to be difficult and gets put in time out. We have a second retreat in September, so there will be another opportunity to finish things up then.
