Hello Pat, after waiting several hours I rang the Police again and told them that nothing has happened. I had to go through a number "we will exchange you". Finally got to speak to a real person. Told them that I reported it many hours ago and that nothing has changed. Also told them to let me know when it does as I was tired of walking up to the house in the rain and checking on it. Then I settled down to do some knitting and watch a bit of TV. Knock, knock on my door and I looked up to see 2 Policemen there. They told me that they have been in the house and it was not a break in. They have also locked the door. They also apologised for the delay as they are short staffed. I said that I understood as our State Government is not putting any money into policing. They smiled in a knowing way. So all ended well. Enjoy your day.
