Hello Pat, yesterday Mungo came home with what looked like a small snake hanging out of his mouth. The head was in his mouth. I shouted at him and he dropped it. I instantly killed it with a spade. Then I spent a number of hours worrying. I kept looking in his mouth for signs of a bite. Nothing and 24 hours later he is fine. I now think that it was a legless lizard and I killed it! Sadly they are endangered. Google told me that cats are their main predators. I think humans like me should be added as I really did think it was a snake. All calm here today. Enjoy your day!
