Hello everyone...a break in my cooking as I wait for my spiced fruit breads to rise. Plain plus cranberry and apricot scones already packed for tomorrow...just the chocolate cake to go...
Still have to feed the wee feathered ones but their  containers did contain quite a bit to keep them busy...will sprinkle throughout the day...hope all good where you are x

Hi Cath, hope you are well!  I hope Ged recovers quickly, ugh, I dont think I would like a nose surgery at all! The show was OK - the lights and the  music were wonderful, and the building is gorgeous- it was the first basilica to be built in the US, back in 1926.  There was narration though and it was about the history of the basilica, except that I guess it has a pretty uneventful history because once they got past the construction, there wasn't much to say.  But at any rate it was a nice night out, although quite chilly waiting to be let into the building and then waiting for Uber after.   The Van Gogh show was here a couple of years ago and we went to that - I think it was better - but the location of this one in the beautiful basilica was excellent.
