Hi Cath, how are you?  It's been hot here too and also smoky due to wildfires in  Canada. This evening though we had a big rain and it's supposed to be very nice temps the next few days.   The  Asian festival was fun, although it was pretty hot since it was outdoors.  We ate a bunch of yummy food, although my friend ate grilled squid including tentacles and that just gave me a shudder!    Love and hugs
