I was so hot today.  I was dressed too much.  So guess what, now our manager is leaving and going to North Carolina.  She had wanted to be there first before coming to us.  There wasn't an opening, but now there is and they called her.  Her last day is Dec. 1st.  I'm so sad.  I get paid the same if I'm head cashier or just cashier.  I like being just cashier because I have no responsibilities.  I haven't gotten trick or treaters in years.  The twit was something and I have no idea what he was. He was wearing a one piece green thing.  It does not look like we're going to get any rain.  It's so dry.  The trees aren't turning as pretty as they used to,  I am going to have a lie in tomorrow.  I can't wait.  Ok I'm off to get comfy and snuggle in.  Sweet Dreams xx

That’s unbelievable the temperatures you’re getting, is it still rain for tomorrow or has it changed.  If you’re getting the higher wage on register I’d take that as well.  Was you thinking of getting wood flooring, that's expensive.  I got so much washing done today and it won’t take long to dry because the heating’s on.  Did you get any treat or trickers tonight, we don’t get them any more.  If it’s an outdoor cat she’s going to find it hard to keep in, unlike Dolly who’s a proper indoor cat, I suppose Lucy is as well, she’s not out long enough and some days not at all.  You can go to bed tonight and have a big lie in tomorrow your holiday starts lol.  I’m off to have hot milky drink. No rain in sight and it's going to be 80 again.  This is unheard of.  I won't go full time because I can't work 8 hours on my feet every day.   I get paid the same whether I work on a register or head cashier, so it doesn't matter to me.  I've been looking at carpet at work.  Bill hasn't given me a quote yet.  I'm finding out it's very expensive  to take the carpet away and put wood in.  We have a black cat roaming the neighborhood.  I've never seen it before, and I think it might be the neighbor's cat that just moved in.  She doesn't know that we really don't approve of the animals running free.  The way people drive in here, the cat might get hit.  I'm no longer on the board and I don't care lol.  Ok I'm off to have my coffee and get moving.  Have a good day xx

Go away, 80, that’s unheard of, fingers crossed for rain.  So why are they interviewing for a head cashier and putting you on register,  if you’re a head cashier don’t they need more on register so that you can get on with your job.  It’s that time of year all the big stores take on more staff but once the boom is over hours are cut.  Will you be going out and looking at carpet while you’re off it’ll give you an idea of what colour you want.  Has Bill given you a quote yet for the steps.  It isn’t anything like 80 here and it’s very overcast, you really don’t want to go out but needs must.  Lucy’s been out but now back and asleep again lol. When I took my break I sat in the car and it said it was 80 outside.  I said are you kidding lol.  No wonder I was sweating at work.  It was really quiet today.  No one was fired but they did interviews for another head cashier.  There isn't enough because if someone goes on vacation we are screwed.  Not enough coverage.  I will probably be more on register which I don't mind.  After tomorrow, I'm off for 6 days and I don't care lol.  The real Christmas trees will be here soon.  When that happens, we'll open garden again 7 days a week.  After that, it will go down for the rest of the winter.  Then, we hit our slow time for the winter.  Hours will be cut back.  Ok I'm off to get comfy and curl up.  One more day!! lol  Sweet Dreams xx

I put my prescription into the chemist and that’s as far as I went today.  I did washing and hung it upstairs but didn’t get round to cutting back the clematis it was too chilly.  Things are getting desperate if you don’t get rain soon, hopefully Friday will be the day.  Oh so the same guy still comes in occasionally to do a bit of watering, does he ever make eye contact with you when he comes in.  When are the Christmas trees due, do you sell door wreaths and other bits in the garden.  Did you get to vote, you must every vote against him counts.  I’m off to watch a Christmas film, I love them you know the whole story within the first 10min lol but they’re so easy to watch.  Have a nice evening.xx

No big deal about last night.  Now that garden is closed during the week, there isn't much to do walking wise.  I still have a lot of walking but no garden lol.  We are now in an extreme fire alert.  They are asking to cut back on water.   If there's one spark, we go up in flames.  I don't remember it ever being like this.  We have some Mums left but not much.  Garden is closed during the week now.  We didn't hire a water boy again.  He still comes in occasionally.  He's fixing up the new place he moved in to.  Next week all this will be over and I can't wait.  The commercials are so annoying lol.  I'm going to ride over and how long the line is to vote early.  Ok I'm off to have my coffee and get moving.  Have a good day xx
