She was going for a blood pressure check, only by vet nurse. Had her nails checked, and when her hair got matted, they would remove it. Older cats can't groom themselves because if their arthritic, they can't twist and turn. Plus they can't sharpen and groom their nails, because its painful because of the arthritis. She was getting regular arthritis injection and it helped, but her blood pressure wasn't dropping.
The emergency, who is VERY expensive, said she fluid all over her abdomen where its not supposed to be, fluid around her lungs conpressing her lungs, she was dehydrated, they did an ultrasound.
They said they could have sent to hospital for more tests, but the vet said they had enough information to know she was seriously ill.
