It's cloudy today with a temperature of 20° but a high humidity level so it's a sticky heat
I got the old place cleared out this morning. Also got some groceries. Was woken up early to do this but it's finally done
Now I have to get my driver's license switched over to the new address. We have this new ID that carries our driver's license & health card all in 1 now. I have to get my birth certificate to provide as well for the new ID as it is now needed
Was a warm & sticky night as well so I slept a couple of hours at a time. Around the time I was woken up I was thinking that I should have turned on the AC
Have a good day at work & hope it's productive if not busy

THE NEGLECTED FAIRY

Oh why do I sigh,
And moan, and cry
About how very much
Time goes by
When I don't pay attention
To my inner fay,
(I really don't want her
To fly away!)
So instead let me sit
And write some lines,
Hoping to get a poem
That really shines,
`Cause the fairy within me
Needs time for fun
Lest she get cranky
And come undone.
If I do a good job,
She'll soar to new heights
When I dust out the cobwebs
And turn on the lights;
Together we'll go
To a magical place
That will put a sweet grin
On her tiny face.
She will flutter her wings,
Sing some sparkling songs
In a place filled with magic,
Where she truly belongs!
