Happy Monday Mary. Strange day. Not terribly hot today and it rained for like 4 minutes. So disappointed. The grass is so brown and it didn't give us enough to soak anything. We need a good rain. Funny I sat outside all day yesterday in my new chair. It was comfy. I'm lucky I don't need a hard chair to sit in. But I woke up today feeling weird and I can't seem to get rid of a headache. Someone said it was the smoke. I didn't smell it or notice it. But she seems to think that's what it is. Her hubby woke up the same way.
I laughed about the angel kiss on the bunny's head. That's one way to put it. They are all sizes around here. Some are so small just new this year. And mostly all skittish which is good. I don't think they should trust humans. So I don't mind if they run or hop away. I just like watching them.
My son is cooking his own dinner. So I guess its fend for yourself tonight. He says when he's done cooking he's going to the river for a swim. So that will be nice for him. Me I think I will just throw together something quick and easy. Thinking I should do a dump run this week. Maybe Wednesday. I don't really have any errands that I have to do this week. And my doctor is on vacation now so not likely any appts for a while either. Nice to just have my time as my own.
So great you have big plans for the weekend. That is a good reason to just take it easy and relax. Its a holiday here. So no mail, no bank etc. Grocery stores are open though. Tj went to the city for things he needs for work. So he's stocked up for the week.
