It’s another rainy day today
A day to stay indoors
I’ve given my little Seanachai
A list of weekday chores
Her bed’s in need of making
It’s really quite unkempt
For watering gardens and having fun
Is what really calls and tempts
The rain is splashing the windows
So begrudgingly she begins
I’m hearing a bit of grumbling
Amidst the thunderous dins
But finally, she emerges
And out the door she flies
With watering can and magic wand
Towards the beckoning skies
