I think I have learned a lot from this conversation, . Sue. I am more critical and judgemental than I realised. I have unjustly harboured harsh feelings against someone who was just old and in pain. She was right I was young and lithe.  Could easily bend down at the time. If only she had said that she needed my help but she only ever criticised me! Such an interesting chat. The pain we carry from our childhoods, if we are sensitive and self absorbed 🤔

Well I do try Sue but my gran used to make me dust her chair's legs. Around 5 years old, I really couldn't see the point and thought she was very cruel. In hindsight she had chronic  arthritis and so couldn't bend down herself but couldn't let go of her old standards even if it meant child cruelty and slavery 😂

My history!!!! Ancient times? My old gran was so very house proud loved cleaning. My mum was just normal but by their standards I'm a laggard in terms of housework! X…

Oh yes that's it Sue!!!!!! I can't remember using it myself but my mum and gran did certainly, around the grate floor tiles!!! 😂

Cardinal !!! We used to have y floor polish called cardinal back in the old days, when I was a child? I think it was for quarry tiles? Blast from the past xo
