Seanachai was trying everything to help Dexter lay those Easter eggs. She gave him choice carrots and lettuce to munch on.  She even dug out a box of chocolates she had been saving to savour on a snowy evening spent in front of the fireplace.  Dexter seemed quite fond of them and she thought perhaps it might give him some special powers to enable him to lay those precious Easter eggs.  Alas nothing seemed to happen.  Dexter ended up falling asleep on his new nest and Seanachai finally retired to her soft bed of lamb’s ears and rose petals to ponder what the secret to laying Easter eggs could be.
