I'm looking for clarification on attracting M B. Does it only occur after 5 and multiples of 5 babies have been spotted and does it occur 5 times for every baby spotted? Or do the first 5 spots unlock subsequent singular spottings - like the 6th/7th baby spotted invites the 6th, 7th and so on M B?

Once you attract five you'll get one family for each baby. After that it's one family for each additional baby. So if you attract 7 babies you get 7 families.
