Hello Dave ~ sounds like you and Joni have been making the most of some free time too but rather more exciting than our 3 trips to the bar lol. I like the sound of the pirate party and even more so the animal Park experience. I'd have spent the whole week there. But since I already live with 5 dogs 28 chickens 3 peacocks and 2 goats there's no hope of us both going anywhere for à week. Or barely even a day...
I'm still waiting for my second vaccine which is scheduled for the 14th June. Steve's is the following week. There's a partial lifting of lockdown here but of course it means straight away everyone carries on as if there's no pandemic so I'm still being cautious. In UK, where they relaxed the restrictions à couple of weeks before us, there was à 27% increase in new cases last week. I will watch with interest to see if that happens here. But here, anyone can get the vaccine now wherever they are. Plus, only vaccinated people with à health certificate will have access to sports venues, clubs, muséums and cinémas, as well as foreign travel, so the anti-vaxers will have to get in line or miss out on stuff.
