Hi Pat glad you got indoors just as the rain arrived, sounds like it was very wet.  Our rain has been more showery I'm glad we had some as my garden man was round yesterday putting the late Autumn feed down.  I had to buy a new hoover, an early Christmas present to me lol!  I have a Cordless Dyson, very old now, and it has been acting up since the Summer.  When I empty it the little door doesn't always open and when it does, the whole cannister comes out. I took advantage of the Black Friday sale at Curry's and it will be here tomorrow.  I got the identical one to the one I have so it will fit the charger already on my wall.  Glad you have a new heated throw, how kind of your sister to send you a new one.
