Hello Ed, Ty for the mouse. I phoned Mum after my last post to you as I wasn't sure if Dad had Dementia or Alzheimers. It was Dementia and something that I did not know about called Sundowners, which is something that happens to some Dementia patients when the sun goes down. I told Mum about Sandra wanting to 'go home' and Mum told me that Dad would often say, "Well we have had a good holiday but now it is time to go home." Mum told me that she would then find ways to distract him. I honestly knew nothing about that! Typical of Mum who never complains. Something that my brothers and I are now lecturing her about. When a doctor asks how are you feeling Jean? She usually answers "Fine." Mum has to learn to speak about her slighest niggles. Hugs!

Hello Ed, oh dear I feel for you and Sandra. Is she still knitting? How did you deal with her wanting to go home? Hugs.

Good morning splash-- I am up before the sun even though more than likely no sun and some sprinkles today, I have to get the laundry done or else won't get at it until next Thurs. and I hate  having to start it later in the day. I see where Dianne does not want to jump out of a plane---to tell the truth neither do I. I really never liked being up in a small plane either  . Sounds like you had a good day yesterday and I am sure Sandra liked having the dog visit. Off on the run ,beigh a Sat better get at the laundry. Hello Ed, No I have NEVER jumped out of an aircraft! My son Shannon did some years back and happily I only knew about it after! He told me that it was amazing. I will take his word for it. I am not good with heights. When I vistxed the Empire State Building I stayed away from the rails as I did when I went up the Eifel (?) Tower. And Brian once went on a board walk above a forest in Tasmania however I stayed safely waiting for him to return. Haha and this is me once wishing that I was an astronaut! Dinner now done, cats inside and I will soon be in bed most likely to watch a comedy on Netflix as it has been a long day driving and emotional. Enjoy your new day!

Hello Ed, that is great news about Evelyn! I had a feeling that her going AWOL had something to do with her moving. Although like you I was worried. When she finally gets back to F/L I will request a friendship on FB. Visited Mum today. She looks so frail. Not like she looked 6 months ago. 2 of her friends passed away last week and she started to say, "Things always go in 3's." I stopped her. "Mum I don't want to think about it!" What I really should have asked is how she feels about possibly being the 3rd. That important, but difficult discussion about what her wishes are for after....? Even when Brian was dying I could not bring myself to talk about it with him. Hopefully I will be braver on my next visit to Mum.
