splashed-- It is a bright morning so if I am lucky there will be sunshine and it will warm up in here. Went down again yesterday and managed to find someone in the office but they wanted my little heating things turned off so as to get the true temperature in here-- turned them off and no one showed up--guess I am just a nuisense old lady  and if we ignore  she will go away. I really don't care what their temperature gun will read--I am cold in here. Slowly getting a few things up for Christmas but wondering when is a good time to stop which I don't seem to be able to do--just keepputting things up and then curse when I have to take it all down. Good luck with all your lighting--the tree should go fine but its the climbing that may be the proble--maybe like so many people --just leave them up year round. Have fun with you grocery shopping and I hope for no cart checks. I don't know why we do it to ourselves--get all tied in knots trying to get everything done. Have a good day

Hello Ed, once again we are each other's gate. Found my Christmas cards, now to write in them. Also in my continued search for the Advent Candle setting I came across 2 boxes of garden solar path lights. Never used. So I put one together and planted it in my garden to see if it works. It is still daylight here so I will have to wait. Each box contains 5 lights. Cannot recall why I purchased them. Perhaps for Jamieson. That makes sense. The 2nd box will be donated to the Op shop as I really do not need them. It amazes me as to how much 'stuff' I have purchased over the years. I will report tomorrow re. the path light and if it works.

Hello Ed, I sorted through my table linen today. Decided to donate all my linen napkins to the shop as I cannot recall the last time that I used them. I tend just to use paper napkins nowadays. It does save on ironing. You writing about Christmas cards has inspired me to get on with the task. Enjoy your new day.

HEllo ED, I am having a quiet day at home. The couple fro the USA are not fans of Trump, however the chap decided it was time to move back here to be closer to his elderly mother. A wise move in my opinion. Did you purchase the book to help you understand what Sandra is going through? I guess that you are soundly sleeping at the moment.

Happy Dec, splash-- It is clean this morning with no new snow but going to have to go down and raise cain as my heat is still not sufficent to warm up the place and my little ceramic heater is not doing the job,Good idea to send the cards early,not sure if we still have the rotating strikes or not but if we do thenit is slower than the pony express.I haven't done much in the way of decorations,its hard to get into the spirit of things when Its cold in here and I keep hudling  under a blanket. Kevin got everything out for me but it still sits piled in the corner.I hope the rain holds off for you,would be hard to carry 2 big bags and an umbrella. Have a goodeday

Hello Ed, the rain held off during the Coffee Club. Some of our members are wanting to help Frank, the owner of the shop do some gardening and tarting up the outside area. Frank starts projects and then I think he gets overwhelmed and new projects remain un done. He is a strange chap. Lots of ideas however does not see them to completion. The outside area is a mess of incomplete projects. Vicky one of the Monday Morning Coffee Club has suggested that we do a working bee each Monday after our gathering. Unfortunately I can get involved as I am then getting ready to go to the Op Shop. When 3 of the Club got ready to work the heavens opened up again. I got rained on as I walked home.  So I guess that they did not get much done. Now that Art group has finished for the year I may be able to help on a Wednesday? I know that all sounds strange however we really want to support the shop as it is so important to us and the community. It is our Corner Store and we would have to drive to other stores if it folds. Dinner now done and bed and a book is what I am longing for. Have a great day.

Hello Ed, TY for the Lovebirds. I am home again after my usual busy day. Our Monday Morning Coffee Club seems to be growing. 2 new members who have recently moved here from the USA. They came to the shop for coffee and were interested in our gathering and we invited them to join us. They really enjoyed themselves  and want to come back each Monday. Then a few hours later I was at the OP shop and another busy and enjoyable afternoon. Have a great day.
