Lots of rainy weather and cooler days here now.  The long hot days of summer are definitely gone.  There will still be some really nice weather for awhile yet but autumn is definitely here.
I've been enjoying some nice produce from my gardens.  Sad about losing most of my tomatoes and green beans to animals but the rest of my veggies did well.  I'm enjoying lots of big juicy sweet red bell peppers right now and continuing to enjoy my Swiss chard and kale.  I like the kale in smoothies and soups.  I've been using my herbs a lot in soups, salads and in every day meals.  I will miss snipping and using my fresh herbs but will freeze some and dry some of the herbs before frost comes.
