That’s great you don’t eat a lot of meat :)
Holidays weren’t pleasant in my house. My dad was not a nice person. I don’t have happy holiday memories. Then being a vegetarian made the holiday harder. My parents started going over my brother’s and his ex wife didn’t really have much for me to eat. I know I wasn’t going to make my own food because to me, I shouldn’t have to! So I guess it’s a combination of being a vegetarian and just never having any happy memories of Thanksgiving. I do remember having a really nice one at a friends house many years ago and also the last several years I’ve been going by my friends’ wildlife center. (The center was bought out by a company putting up condos so I couldn’t go this year)
