Morning Dianne, got most of my admin work done.Just one card to sort as I understand the chap has moved so wait until he gets in touch. Did phone an old comrade this afternoon. It was good because we could exchange things that we didn't know but puzzled us. He also being a buddy of Terry Stamp told me he died from dementia & been in a care home for some time. No wonder I hadn't heard from him. Some time back he had to turn down parts in stage productions because he kept forgetting his lines. On the other hand I had information of an old friend of his he had lost touch with way back. Good old Google told me the chap had died in 1999 whilst playing in a ping match from a heart attack. It was lovely chatting with him. Unbeknown to me he has a sister who lives a few minutes from me & he will be there for Christmas. So we are hoping to get together then. Now on to 'Elf's behaving badly'. Do they have that in your country. It's apparently a sort of game played in December with the children. First I'd ever heard of it this evening when Tracey was on about it. She tried to explain it to me but I didn't quite get it. splashed--I am exhausted but my marathon trip today paid off-- Got groceries so I can do some baking,went to the bulk barn andd got the candied fruit for the fruit loafs, got all the Christmas presents except for 2 and Kevin put up my tree. Now to just get it all wrapped or in boxes and I hope to be done. Have a good day and remember you don't have to shovel rain!!
