Morning Diane, we are @ 8c this morning & dry. Actually a good time to put lights on my outside trees. But of course it's grocery day so I'm up early to get that out of the way. We did receive Christmas cards from Canada yesterday, amazing. I queued for forty minutes yesterday @ our Post Office just for stamps for cards to Canada. Guess it's like everything else, cut backs. A few years ago there would have been five tills going now only two. Wouldn't be so bad if peeps only wanted stamps but with the introduction of e-bay makes it busy. Although there are a lot of stores which deal with parcels for delivery company's. Did buy a couple of new sets of lights of Christmas lights while I was in town. Not quite what I wanted but beggars can't be choosers. lol. How they manage to get so many lights in a small box amazes me. Must admit one set I bought because I likes the plastic box with a clip on lid. Before I get stuck into that I have promised Sandra I would help her with the Christmas cards as she is panicking about them. I wasn't going to get involved but she getting upset over them so I decided I would help. Sorry to hear about the lack of heat in your apartment. Hope they got it sorted.. Grocery shop now, so I wish you a good day.
