I spoke with Ian this afternoon and he told me Sue was in hospital. I thought for a minute that she'd been taken ill but he said it was that she had a place on her eye lid and they were going to remove it and he said it was a cancer, I'm hoping all is well. A couple of weeks ago she did mention there was a problem but she didn't say it was cancer so I'm wondering if she didn't know until she got in there today. He said she should be home later this afternoon but apparently they'd had to sedate her as her blood pressure was sky high, that's what makes me think she didn't know before hand.
I take my car to the other end of town so after I'd dropped it off I walked down the main road to a charity shop. The lady volunteering in it remembered me from my days at the council, she said I hadn't changed at all. I wish, that's nearly 18 years ago!!
