Tomorrow if it's fine I'll load the car with all the stuff for the convent so it will be ready to go on Thursday morning. It's going to take a while and I must remember to do their Christmas cards. Still as I'm visiting the convent again on Sunday I can take anything I've forgotten then. On Sunday there's a Christmas street market in Bungay so I guess the town crier will be giving it his all sometime during the day. I can park at the convent, stroll round the stalls while Sue and Sheila are at church then go back to the convent house and have lunch with them. It works really well as they like to have a look around the stalls so I have lunch and leave about 2 so I can get home in the daylight and they still have time to have a look at what's for sale, not that they buy anything!

After I'd been to the Post Office I went to see auntie, she's well ahead with Christmas. She's written all her cards and there are a lot and I felt guilty as I haven't done hers yet.

I have a neighbour, Leigh who lives the other side of my parking place and like Don spends ages cleaning his car, I just take mine to the guys at the car wash and sit inside while they wash and wipe it. I do vacuum inside it especially if I know I'll have a passenger like Sue on Thursday. I'll zip though it tomorrow with my little cleaner, not that she'd notice!

Hi Janet, This morning when I went outside to feed the birds I noticed a man on the flat roof of Victoria's bungalow, she lives the other side of Daryn. I waited all of 5 seconds before i called out to him, I think he thought he was hearing things! Anyway I asked him if he cleaned out gutters as I needed my back ones done. He said yes I'll be with you in a little while when I've finished here. Now I don't know what you call a little while but I figured maybe an hour but no, 4 hours later he knocked on my door. He had a look and said he'd come back maybe next week and clear them. I wasn't so keen on the maybe but took his phone number and gave him mine and fingers crossed he'll be coming to do it. Naturally while I was waiting for him to come I didn't do much just in case he came while I was busy with something. I ended up writing a dozen Christmas cards. Still I managed to go out after he'd been and posted a card to the US .....

wow, you are super organised for Xmas! Your house must look very pretty with all the decorations and well done with organising all your gifts. I have a list sitting here beside me that I need to get onto. Will start tomorrow and hopefully by the end of next week I will have all the pressies. Then its just the waiting period before I can shop for the veggies I have been allocated to prepare and cook this year for our Xmas lunch at Paul's sisters house.
I hear you loud and clear re just wanting good health. This has slipped by me for the past year or so, so I need to up my requests to Santa to be kind to me as I age. Sucks how all of a sudden we are in our 70's. Surprises me everytime I look in the mirror.

Good afternoon, Janet. I’m not sure why I decided to do the pottery lottery…it’s going to stress me for sure…lol. I started my baking today. I made Russian Tea Cakes. I’m not going to make as many varieties as I usually do this year. I’m finding it hard to get much done with Piper. She’s a very energetic puppy. It has been snowing all day but has started to slow down now. We are taking the kids to lights on the Lake tonight. It’s a drive thru light show on Onondaga Lake. I bought green tree shaped snake boxes and filled each compartment with a different candy for the kids to snack on. They will be all sugared up for when we bring them home…lol. I’m sure my daughter won’t appreciate that to much. They are small snack boxes so I think they will be okay. I hope you are enjoying your day 💜
