Poppy flowers can symbolize sleep, peace, and death, but also remembrance and resurrection. They are widely associated with remembrance of fallen soldiers, particularly the red poppy, due to their strong connection to World War I and being a symbol of eternal sleep and death.

Baking sprinkles this evening...small cakes, circular mixed fruit and more spiced and fruited bread...all for coffee morning tomorrow...☺️
Went out for a drive and of course to get more supplies for baking, I wonder why? 😆
Temperatures improved throughout the day, hopefully will stay for a while...
