mushroom question

Karen and ::Kukula TFC: ˜☆ 6 years ago

I haven't tried to attract foxes for a long time but am attempting to so so for a quest.
Is a certain mushroom better than others for that?
So far none have shown up.

P.S. Just changed mushroom to "Enchanted Rainbow" because I have seen a lot of fox gardens with that.

All mushrooms from pink cap up have the same deterrent power for mice and ducks, however, the higher the enchanted mushroom you use the more different myths may be attracted to the food.  So unless you want to use resources for a supershroom,  more importantly, you would probably be better putting in a second bellis so that you have two attractants for the fox instead of one. :)

Whoops!  Have just noticed that you do have a second bellis - the yellow one :)

When you can maybe change out to two low plates which will double your chances if the fox showing up :)

The only reason for using an Enchanted Mushroom instead of Pink Cap would be if you want to get Unicorns, too.
But that adds competiton for Foxes (or other Veggie eaters), and they have to be replanted more often because they don´t last long.
So I really wonder why people use them so often. They don´t have a better deterrent effect  than pink cap -  but instead they decrease the chance of getting the desired animal. I think most people just think: the higher the mushroom, the better - but that´s not true.

Thanks Angelika....I usually go with pink cap too.
