Orange butterflies....

I planted an orange butterpilia in a tea cup...it grew in an amethyst.....I found an orange caterpillar in a garden 10 minutes after I planted my plant...it didn't attach itself to the plant in mine.   I'm confused.  What happened?

You have from the time it's three minutes old until it's fully grown (2 hours, for the orange).  If the caterpillar didn't attach, it was either the wrong colour, or you spotted it before the three minutes was up, or your garden was frozen and so the caterpillar couldn't attach.

Never mind, I misread your post. You must have clicked the wrong pot when you planted the butterpillaflora.

At the time I opened your garden, it had been less than ten minutes since your BPF had been planted, so there must be some confusion there. Did you freeze your garden after planting it, so that ten minutes had passed in real time, but not in your garden? If it was frozen, that's why you got no chrysalis.

No ...I didn't freeze it.  That's what was so strange.  I also did not click on the jewel  to plant the seed.  Must have been some kind of glitch.   :(
