You're deterring the small goat, so nothing other than trolls can come right now.

You're also deterring the medium goat, which you will want visiting once your small goats have been spotted, so all you can do right now is remove both herb deterrents for this round.

You’re deterring your small & medium goats so only the troll can appear x

im set up to start the goats either later tonight or tomorrow i think i have planted both deterrents are they really needed to be used in the billy goats?  if i need to remove one id rather do it now, also how many seeds will it take to complete the whole quest with out to many muck ups please  thanks :)

Hi Chris - there are two ways to approach doing the three goats - the first way you use the deterrent plants to increase your chances of having a big billy spotted so timing is critical in using this method in that you have to have the knapweed ready to go to deter small goats once your buttercup is medium in size and then the nightshade to deter the medium goats once your buttercup turns to big in size - it is easy to control when these are planted though as they will only plant into a rusty bucket.  If you are then set to do another round of goats straight after the first round you will need to remove the deterrent plants before they are rfh.  This method will use 28 FT seeds (4 per each round x 7 rounds).

The other approach is to not use the deterrent plants - basically you keep planting up buttercups and grass - at one point I had three buttercups planted in the garden - I did plant one knapweed at the end as a back up to get the last big billy but ended up not needing it.  So all up used (using superfood for the grass) about 12 FT seeds.  This is a riskier approach and certainly could not be done before an initial change was made to extend the time the buttercups were fully grown.

You've got the big buttercup so you're attracting it - you just need to be patient.
