Hi. My garden is set for Halloween with lots of special effects I have saved with stardust. If I transport my garden underwater for a short time to get my first Merwitch, will I lose all the special effects when I return to dry land. It's taken me a few years to build them and I don't want to lose them. Thanks.

Your effects will remain frozen, as long as you renew the freeze with stardust if it expires while underwater. When you harvest the underwater toadstool, the time you were underwater will be added back to the remaining duration of the freeze.

Thanks Claire.. So that means that if I freeze just before I plant and quicken my underwater toadstool, then I'll have up to 7 days to be underwater before I have to get back to dry land (so that my effects remain)?

Yes.

But you don't have to time it specifically that way, unless you want to. As Claire said, if you are underwater when your effects would expire, you would just need to refreeze them as normal. You get all the time back when you harvest the toadstool. You must harvest it though, not remove it - if you just remove it, the time is lost.
