Anyone else looks for the "I like" when they see a funny post?

I would love to support this idea but I fear how some might react. There are already players with rather fragile feelings who will block anyone who doesn't agree/support their view/idea on the forums. Can you imagine the reactions if someone creates a thread and doesn't receive any "likes" on their post while someone else, who posted a differing viewpoint, received several "likes"?

Maybe if the "likes" were anonymous (so no one could be blocked) and only the postee could see the actual number of "likes"???

If the kinks could be worked out to protect others, I really would enjoy this - I've seen brilliantly written posts and hold-your-sides funny comments that I would've adored having a "like" button for     : )
