if the toadstool is ready for harvest, do i harvest or does it get another fairy and how do i get grass on plate when empty

Once it's ready to harvest - ie the fairy has visited and harvested the bubble - it is of no further use.

To get more grass, you'd need to replant a toadstool in the grass pot (the rainbow coloured one).

You will need to replant the toadstool that's rfh.
You used reg. organic food ( 5 feeds ) and you had a cow missed but you need 5 cows spotted to plant a beanstalk seed in the empty barrel.
When the mushroom has the bubble on top it will attract another fairy to put grass out on an empty plate again.

The gnome table, and the ability to use it as a third feeding table, is the reward for completing the fairytales.
