Why is this quest called Horns and Tusks when I have had 2 elephants spotted in my garden whilst running the quest and it has not acknowledged them surely this is wrong as I have spent time, gold and diamonds in getting the plants ready for this quest. I have now cancel the quest.

The level 2 quest (which I assume is the one you're doing) asks for horned animals only, not tusked.

oh it says horned and tusks on mine

The title of the quest at all levels is Horns and Tusks.  But you have to look at the exact requirements for each level, and the level 2 requirements are any two wildlife which has horns.

Thanks the confusion is in the title, it should be renamed horns

As Tracey said, the line of quests is called "horns and tusks".  All quests have specific requirements, though, and the requirements at level II are clearly written:

Horns & Tusks
Spot In Other Gardens:Any 2 wildlife with horns
Attract In Your Garden:As above, but 2 of each!

It's the same as the "Over the Rainbow" quests only allowing rainbow wildlife at level VII, for example, or the "Giants" quest requiring things with "giant" in the name at level II but specifying other wildlife at the higher levels.  We have to read the quest requirements to know what is allowed -- we can't just go by the title.

The titles of quests from the same group are always kept the same, regardless of what the actual requirements are.    But it's important to check the exact requirements at each level before you set up for the wildlife.

I guess it's done that way to make it easier than having to spot something with both horns AND tusks, as it's the easiest level for that quest :)

I also believe elephants should be included!  However, they are not on the official list of eligible wildlife:
Possible Wildlife For This Task (Horns & Tusks):
Baby Unicorn
Big Billy Goat
Black Unicorn
Bull
Father & Baby Bull
Father & Baby Ram
Gazelle
Golden Unicorn
Medium-Sized Billy Goat
Mother & Baby Gazelle
Mother & Baby Sea-Goat
Rainbow Unicorn
Ram
Reindeer
Rudolph
Sea-Goat
Sea-Unicorn
Small Billy Goat
Unicorn
White Unicorn
Winged Unicorn

Elephants are included as tusk wildlife. The wildlife you typed out are considered horn wildlife, which for level II quests, the only wildlife that counts.
