Hi Kay, I decided not to go to the gym today, I’m going to wait for Monday now when I have my personal training session and he gives me a programme to do. I feel uncomfortable until I devise a way of getting on and off the machines so, hopefully he’ll show me the best way to use them.
I still went to get my steps in today though. I’m going to get my hair washed and blow dried in half an hour then picked up at about 5.30. I’ll be fine, I don’t suffer with fatigue like you but I’ll be tired later.
I’m sorry to hear you had another fall, it sounds bad. Are you sure you are ok? You’ll have to start using your walker and perhaps you won’t fall over so much. I’m terrified of having another fall now, my shoulder won’t stand up to another one. It’s still playing me up but it’s gradually healing.
Yes, I’m cancer free, have been since they cut it out last September, it just took 6 months for the wound to heal but they told my in September that they had got it all.
It’s freezing today, you wouldn’t believe it was nearly May. We haven’t had any nice weather here. Roll on 2 weeks time so I can got to Majorca. You can guarantee you will have nice weather when I’m gone lol.
It’s a shame you have started smoking again, you know it’s the cause of most of your chest infections. I understand it’s an addiction but when it makes you so ill isn’t it time to call it a day.
I’ve finished the Macaw vase and nearly finished the Gibbon one. I’ll just have time to finish the intermediate quest by the time the next ones come out.

Hi Kay, sorry I’ve been AWOL, I seem so busy these days.
I went to the gym on Monday afternoon and the trainer seemed so positive about me. He worked on my paralysed arm and is convinced he can get more movement in it. I have a personal training session with him on Monday and he’s going to work out a programme for me to do. He’s got a few people that have had strokes that go there. He’s also added me to his stroke WhatsApp group.
I’m going to the gym with Sara, my new jury friend, tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow afternoon/evening I’m going to the London Palladium to see the Mavericks. It was a last minute thing cos someone dropped out! I’m going with Nicola, Sandie and Sandies friend.
I also go to the shopping centre most days to get my steps in. I’m determined to get fitter and maybe lose some weight but I’m going to Majorca in just over 2 weeks time.  It’s come around so quickly, I’m going with Carole this time and P in July.
My leg is fine, it’s completely healed but it took 6 months to the day.
Hope your colitis is under control now and your chest infection has completely gone. How’s your non smoking going. You haven’t mentioned that lately.

Good morning Kay. Nicola’s party went well, everyone had a good time. Her cousins got a bit worse for wear, they were drinking shots! The marquee didn’t get used much as it was too cold outside. I brazened it out with a few people. I was determined to use it as it took so long to put it up. Most people were crammed in the house because it was warmer.
I didn’t get to bed until 2 so I’m tired but we’re going to a new restaurant for Sunday dinner. It seemed like a good idea to book it the other day but I don’t want to get ready now.
Poor Tara has to work today so they left mine at 8.30, we were still in bed. I bet Jay and Holly went straight back to bed as soon as they got home, lol.
Glad you had a nice day with Sarah and Archie yesterday. Bet it’s lovely to see Archie more regularly. Wasn’t Glenn with you yesterday?
I bet you really want another Granddaughter to spoil as you don’t see Maeve very much.

Morning Kay, the gym was good. I didn’t do much as I was just being shown round, I tried a couple of machines out. It was really comfortable and not posy at all. It’s a small but well equipped gym. The owner wasn’t there but he phoned me that afternoon and arranged for me to go on Monday at 4 and he’s going to suggest a programme for me once he’s sees what machines I can and can’t use. I want to improve my fitness, balance and ultimately lose weight. When we had finished at the gym Sara took me back to hers for a coffee. She seems a lovely person and I’m glad I met her, I think she’s younger than my kids, she’s got a 16 son so she must be around Tara’s age.
It was Nicola’s birthday yesterday so I took her out to lunch with Christine and I went back to Nicola’s. Both P and Paul finished work early and they put up a marquee in their garden while me and Nicola drank prosecco lol. Sandy came in the evening and we got a takeaway of fish and chips. I think Nicola had a good day although she has a stinking cold. I’ll WhatsApp you a phot of the birthday cake that I bought her.
Her party is tonight, it should go well. I still don’t know what I’m wearing but it is in the garden mai

Morning Kay, you are definitely falling apart but if a walking frame helps you and stops you falling over, so be it.
I’m going to the gym today so we’ll see who’s falling apart later lol.
I had a nice lunch with Kate and Mick yesterday, it was good to see them again. They had their grandson, Rowan with them. He’s only a year old and such a sweetie.
I’ve nearly finished the intermediate quest and the vases now. I’ve hardly been on here but I just let my garden get on with itself but lots are missed doing that.
I had better get up and ready to go to the gym. I’m meeting my new friend at her house and we’re going to the gym together. I don’t even know where she lives, I’ll have to set the satnav, wish me luck, chat later xxx

Morning Kay….. the trial only took 4 days and they didn’t need me for this week. I would have got off it anyway as I was struggling. You are not allowed to speak about the case while you are on it but you can when it’s over that’s why I can tell you now. I got the lift down as I have more trouble going downstairs than up. It was my choice to go up so there’s nothing to complain about. I could have gone up in the lift but I chose not to. I’m glad I did jury service but I wouldn’t like to do it again.
I’m staying in today as I have quite a bit to do indoors. Paperwork, washing etc.
You said you won’t have time to the advanced quest, why, it’s only the 16th, you have over two weeks. I’ve nearly finished the advanced and well on the way with the vases as well. They’re easier this time as there’s not so many critters to choose from.
I had my nails done yesterday, sparkly pink again, in time for Nicola’s party on Saturday. Me and Tara went for lunch after and then I came home. I didn’t wait to see Jay and Holly as I’m seeing them on Saturday.

Hi Kay, sorry you are still not feeling great. Hopefully the antibiotics will carry on working for a few days after you have finished them.
I finished court Thursday evening and had Friday off and I don’t have to go back next week. Thank goodness, it played havoc with my back and I was so tired. It was a drug related case but we had to find him not guilty due to lack of evidence but he’s in prison anyway as he pleaded guilty to pushing and selling drugs prior to the trial. I’m glad I did it but I didn’t realise it would be so taxing on my body and mind.
Sarah should be more understanding, it’s a pity you can’t go to the party.
I’ve got a busy week this week, I’m going to Tara’s tomorrow to have my nails done and lunch. I think I’m free on Tuesday. I’m meeting Kate for a coffee on Wednesday, she’s looking after her grandson down this way and we are going for a coffee after she’s taken him to soft play at the shopping centre where I go. And wait for it………I’m going to the gym on Thursday. I met someone whilst on jury service and she goes to the gym a couple of times a week.
