Oh, that must be so much fun.  We always look at those 4-wheelers in town and then shake our heads, as we're probably too old for all that jostling around (????).  LOL  Pahrump is a destination for going on the trails, for sure.  We even have a Spring Mountains Raceway in town with lots of super cars & training to use them wisely.  I can't remember how long the racetrack is, but it's one of the longest in the U.S., I believe. We can hear them going 'round the track from our house.  In my other marriage, his family had a cabin in southern Ohio & called it Sassafras Hill.  Woody (Steve's dad) would have us all down there & take everyone for a ride on the Gravely tractor.  He and Steve planted evergreen trees on the hillside when Steve was little and they were big enough for our Christmas trees over the years.  Woody developed Parkinson's and eventually sold it because it was just too hard to keep up.  Lots of ticks down there, though, and found one on my son when grandpa took him down for a few days.  Ack!  Over the years, whoever visited would sign their name on the sliding bathroom doors!  :)  I'm glad you have a place to go and have a fun time out in nature.  :)  xxx

Hi Michelle!

Hi, Michelle!  Oh, I hope they postpone the Autism Awareness walk if the weather turns nasty.  Let's hope they do!  My older sister, Dorothy, has a son with different "isms", too.  He's had ADHD, etc., but has worked at Target since he graduated high school.  He's in late 30's now, I would think.  Todd has always loved computers and has a nice car.  So thankful he's been able to do these things.  He still lives at home with them.  My niece would make sure he was fine if anything should happen to my sister or her husband, Tom.  I haven't mentioned this, but my sister, Dorothy, has had a breakdown of some sort and she can't walk any longer.  She just recently had a catheter removed after two years.  Tom takes very good care of her even though he has diabetes and probably not in the best of health.  Dorothy is 21 months older than I am and a few years back said she felt like she was having a nervous breakdown and stopped eating and got so weak she could not walk any longer.  She didn't want to talk to anyone.  We haven't spoken except in messenger since the day we found out my brother has passed.  :(  But she is reaching out now and sending me messages.  Oh, well...seems so many peopl

Hi, Michelle!  Wrote down the food you feed penny and will look it up.  :)  We have been feeding Randy Purina Sensitive Skin and Stomach -- and also give him Nutri Vet Pre and Probiotic chews (3 daily).  Not too long ago Randy had a bad, bad case of this red, jelly like slime during bowl movements.  Don rushed him over to the Vet.  I think she thought he needed to be put down, as she asked.  But he said, no...we will try to treat it and see how it goes.  She said sometimes they can pull out of it.  He kept leaving poop here and there for what seemed like forever.  It stopped about 3 months ago...whew.  A few days ago, we noticed that again, but just a little.  It's always on our minds, so any time he is not eating we don't go very far.  Thanks for letting me know what Penny eats and we'll look into that, too!  I did give him rice and chicken to get the appetite going.  It took a while, but he eventually ate.  We haven't had a boxer yet, that was 100% healthy.  :(  Jaedee had skin issues and needed the acl joint repaired at OSU.  She never had another problem with it after the surgery.  Her hair would fall out around her mid section but I'd just put a shirt on her and we'd go for a

Hi, Michelle!  I'll be fine in a day or so.  Caught Don's cold.  It's located in my head, so that's good.  Arthritis flares up now and then, and feel lucky when it decides to leave.  :)  Hope you are doing well.  Today will be a nice day with sun and 77 but tomorrow....winds again.  Up to 55 mph and 65 in the mountains.  Wanted to go see the wildflowers near Ash Meadows.  It's a beautiful place to see.  Like an oasis in the desert.  We used to go a lot when we had a truck and the roads were good.  If you look it up online, you can see some pics!  :)  Take care!  xx

I accepted the friend request and looked at some of your pictures/posts.  Your grandkids are just the cutest.  You've got a very nice family life.  Penny is really sweet, too.  We used to have cats early in our marriage.  Don had Cheeto and then we took on a cat from Sandy's friend (Sandy is Don's sistr).  Patches and Cheeto got along fine with Jaedee.  See you in the garden!  xx

Hi, Michelle!  We love the Beatles, too!  :)  I was probably 11 years old when first hearing of them.  All my school friends were crazy about them, too, of course.  George and I share the same birthdate (2-25), so he was "my Beatle", my sister, Dorothy, had Paul, etc.  What a fun time in life.  I have so many albums, cd's...we've seen "Love" in Las Vegas four times over the years.  :)  Made a small quilt for Don with Beatle patches collected from the Beatle shop in L.V.  Don had a George Harrison "Country Gentleman" guitar.  :)  Your little Havanese Penny Lane must be so cute.  I've a fairyland friend (Janet --Blueberry's Retreat" in Vancouver) -- and she has a Havanese, too!  Horton is his name.  He is so cute.  Penny Lane must be adorable, too.  Our Randy is the third boxer we've had.  Seems they have a shorter lifespan than some breeds.  :(  Our first was Jaedee.  She was the sweetest thing.  We took walk all over the neighborhood.  She loved walking.  When we could tell she was suffering a bit, we bought Evander, another boxer.  They were best buddies.  Evander would tear up his bedding and when I'd come home Jaedee would be looking on with a look that said I tried to tell him
